The theme in this collection is very decorative, and depicts parts of my life which are meaningful to me. I have always been interested in folk art, especially that which connects to my eastern European and Scandinavian roots.  The soft round lines of the Swedish Dala horse and most gratifying. I took great pleasure in experimenting the rounded forms by using them in repetition to make the compositions more interesting and dynamic. The symbolic colour of red is used throughout.
